Oh My.., My Little Big Guy

The truth is I am so in love with this little guy. What a blessing he has been. I honestly can say that he is such an amazing spirit. I am so grateful that God has sent him to us to raise. He is growing bigger everyday. He is now over 4 months old. We took him to his 4 month wellness checkup last week and he is weighing in at 20 lbs and 5 oz. and just below 29 inches long.

He loves to laugh and smile. I really can't believe how happy he is for the most part.
He started eating rice cereal and loves it, he already wants to feed himself.
Has 2 teeth and loves to chew on things
Rolls over and loves to be on the floor
Still spits up lots
Loves to drink from my water cups
Discovered his feet and loves to put them in his mouth
Loves it when we sing to him, he could be crying and then when we start singing, it puts a smile on his face.
Loves to cuddle with Daddy

Washington Visit

My oldest nephew Tyler just got married in Washington. Man am I old. We had been planning this trip for a few months and I was counting down the days. David and I came a week before the wedding so we would have some time with Diana and her family and my Mom. We flew in on Celia's B-Day. So after Diana and my Mom picked me up we went and had lunch with her. It was such a long day for David but he did super great! What a great little flier he is, this was his 4th plane trip and he did so well. All week David got so much attention from his cousins. I wasn't sure how he was going to act since he is really only use to being around Doug and I, but he loved it! Addie and Angela loved to mother him. The only thing that they were a little scared of was his spitting up. But if you want to hold him it comes with the territory. The wedding was really nice. We are so happy for Tyler and Amber. We had lots of fun dancing the night away. Diana also asked all of us sisters to sing "Godspeed" by the Dixie Chicks for the Mother/Son Dance. We practiced together the night before, and it made me realize how much I missed singing with my sisters, it is the only time that I can sound somewhat OK. And I don't think I would even mind if Krista still made me plug my ears while we sang together. It was just fun to get together with everyone. We took the day before flying home to hang out in Seattle with Celia, Mom and Kyra. We had such a great visit, great food, lots of family and beautiful surroundings, I couldn't ask for anything more.

Airplane Museum with Doug's Work

Doug's work hosted a day at the Charlotte Air Museum a few weeks ago. We took Davey and Doug had a fun time showing him all the planes. We got to sit in the cockpit of a F-4 Phantom fighter and a KB-29. The newest plane that had just arrived days before we visited is the Boeing 737 Flight 1539 also known as the Miracle on the Hudson. Obviously it is a huge plane, it almost took up the entire hanger. We watched a film that details just how much of a miracle it really was. It went into great detail about how everything happened just perfectly for them to be able to make that landing with everyone safe and sound. All in all it was a very fun day.
